m38 Gustaf Swede 6.5x55
« on: April 20, 2023, 04:43:38 PM »
I was blessed with one, sporterized probably 50 years ago on the original stock, nice scope, low mounted, and it shoots like a dream. Came with ammo, including some Norma Alaskans. I'm having a dickens of a time finding reloading supplies for it; anyone have any suggestions?

I have had my Carl Gustaf for approx 20 yrs.  Its a lot easier to find components for reloading today due to the 6.5 craze.  I started with a Lee Loader, mallet style then RCBS dies, got everything from Midway.  Moved action out of original stock to Boyd thumb hole a couple of years ago.  Really like round.

Way back in the oughts, twenty first century, not twentieth, John Linebaugh if I wanted a good accurate hunting rifle the Six Point Five Swede was the best out there.
