Yeah this one has me scratching my head too.  Its also kinda vauge.  Bolt gun?  Well the Winchester 70 and Remington 700 are pretty well matched.  Semi-auto?  Well you got the Browning BAR.  Mil-surp?  M1 or 03 Springfield.  Single shot?  Well as much as I love my T/C the Ruger #1 might be more popular.  But this is all subjective of course.  You would really have to dig up some hard numbers to get an "accurate" figure.
