Oh, I'm not confused by the flag in the Senator's Office. I would like clarity on why it is there and where his allegiance is. If he displayed his State flag I'd be fine with it.
If you really want an answer I'd suggest you write the senator and ask him. Posing that question here, where you know no one can answer it, gives the appearance that you are only trying to besmirch the man's reputation with pointless innuendo.
While I agree with Greybeard that for the most part Republicans don't represent conservative interests any better than Democrats, on the issue of gun control there is a very clear divide. Colorado's package of asinine gun laws was inflicted on us 100% by the majority Democrats and would probably have been even worse if not resisted 100% by the minority Republicans. Basically the same divide stands at the federal level, it's the Democrats who are pushing the agenda with the aid of a few turn coat Republicans and RINOs.
