That's the crux of matter today. No longer is it an "honest days wage" for an "honest days work" They want "benefits", and a "share in the profits". No one is entitled to anything more than being paid for their work. Benefits, and a share of the profits are strictly up to the business owner. But today's "spoiled American" wants something they are not entitled to. But then again we have become a nation of "entitlements"
Hard times create strong men. Strong men create good times. Good times create weak men. Weak men create hard times.

But according to you in earlier posts ALL corperations
Steal from the Poor
Pollute
Bribe ellected officials to do their bidding
Cheat workers
Never promoted anyone
Used whips and chains on them.
Discriminated based on Race, Gender, sexual orientation, age, looks, religion.
made crappy products that did not last
Don't pay taxes
do not provide adaquite health care
And are part of a rigged system that will not share the wealth
And are willing to screw the loyal emplyees at a drop of a hat for more profits that they hide off shore to avoid more taxes.
So that would mean that you stole from the poor, poluted, cheated workers, created crapy products, allowed workers to die, cheated on taxes.
So I ask again where are all the illegal profits you made, how many people did you kill with crappy products, bad healthcare and how many lives did you destroy by moving your company?
OH, I understand you were the ONLY good person in business.
If you are going to paint with a wide brush expect to get some paint on you.  So expalin why we should not steal all of your ill gotten gains from when you were a corperation?
Now that's funny right there.  I've read his posts on corps and you nailed him. ;D ;D
for corps that stay in the USA and those corps that return, I would levy zero taxes.
we need to create jobs jobs for individuals.

The thing is this is an isolated incident as far as company's go and someone in this company's HR  dept. wasn't using their head. This is why major company's like Westinghouse and CAT have eliminated their HR depts. or limited them in what they do. To much buddy or family hiring was going
on and the quality of the new employees was suffering as a result.
They now use recruiting agency's to do the foot work of finding and hiring people.

TM7,
Maybe you do not understand sarcasm.
You are the one that has responded with emotional outbursts.
You are the one that has generalized and lumped all companies together, and assumed all were guilty of being evil, greedy, and not paying taxes.
We then find out that you are one of them, while crying that the rich need to be taxed more and that the leaders of companies and corperations needed to be lead off to have their heads lopped off like in the French revolution.  Teachers that like communism and do not understand history that has them being the first to catch bullets.  Liberalsism and communism can not survive with education.
Now I really do not care how much you made, what you produced and how you treated your employees.  By the way you talk about other companies I can only draw the line that you were one of the Profits at all costs, fudge the taxes, and created shotty products or services.  After all you have an insiders view.
Now you may also be one of those that have made some money that now want to pull the ladder up behind them and make it so others can not make any money and that gives you larger buying power with your funds and the ability to become a robber barron.
So by your responses you are either lying about owning a corperation and making money, you were just lucky and never understood why or how you made the money because you clearly do not understand basic macro economics.  And you are the one that reacts emotionally and think Robin Hood is a good guy not understanding that A he stole from government and in your version he would be holding you up.
Years ago my company had a VP that was a liberal.  One day he was spouting off  about this and that at me and the National Sales Manager.  The President of the company was there but I did not know it.  I explained that he, the Vp was either a bad liberal or a bad VP as the two are mutually exclusive.  As a VP taxes and regulations are bad, as a liberal taxes and regulations are good.  As a VP profits are good as a liberal profits are the root of all evil.  As a VP you want to hire the best people as a liberal you need to hire as many as possible.
As a VP Unions are a bad thing, as a Liberal Unions are the savior of the workers.
So the same must be the case with you,  Either you are a hypocrite and the do as I say liberals while breaking all you own rules or you were a bad businessman and you did not take care of the company trying to grow it and create jobs.

Basically, I think this explains adequately who you and a few others are:  http://consciouslifenews.com/paid-internet-shill-shadowy-groups-manipulate-internet-opinion-debate/1147073/

Interesting links. Like the analogy to putting down astroturf.
Doubt that mcduck or you, or a lot of others, that add valuable content to the hunting, gun, DIY or other forums here are pros. Just a bunch of passionate folks, one way or another.
Now, if someone only posts to the political stuff, yeah maybe.
The difference between people who do stuff and people who don't do stuff is that the people who do stuff do stuff.

TM7,
I knew your response was going to be a personal attack and question my motives for arguing against your liberal crap.  I am suprised you did not go to the old gem and call me a racist.
The founding of this country was based on your ideas in the Pilgram Charter where everthing was communal.  It almost killed everyone.  Communism does not and has never worked.  The Pilgrams then had to give each family a plot of land and unleashed the power of free enterprise.  Supplyt and Demand took over and we have the beginnings of the economic machine that the US had become based on natural resources, hard work, and the willingness to risk those resources and their time and energy into creating items needed.  In communism only the minimum will ever be done and the lazy will bring down the others to their level.
What you see as rtantings and montra I see as simply repeating things to help them sink in.
Like learing the multiplication tables.  7X7=49  No matter what you think it should be it will always be 49.  The same as 7X(3+4) =49.  As there are laws to math and science there too are laws to economics.  People vote with their $ and some companies make it and others do not due to managment, products, taxes, or labor and any one or a combination of them will make or break a company.  Along with the internal conditions of a company there are external forces that will kill or make a company and they are regulations, inovations, and laws.
Your emotional outbursts of corperations are evil make no sense, the request ofr higher and higher taxes only makes sense if you are trying to make your money worth more, or you truly do not understand basic economics that the higher prices go the less will be consumed.  the less consumed the few workers are needed to make those products.  On the reverse side of taxes the more taxes you have to pay the few dollars you have to spend.  The first law of economics is willing and able.  If you take more as taxes then you are not able to buy those goods as well as the price will rise. But then again this does not make sense to you and you are probably seeing this as a rant rathern than a lesson based on hunman actions and reactions and history.  You see the star trek science fiction that the liberals are preaching as facts.  Not to ruin your utopian dreams but Star trek is fiction and much like all fiction it all works out by the last page of the book or script.
And when you see someone telling people that 7X7=14 you have to speak up.
I can assure you I am not a paid schill.  I question liberals that point fingers, most are doing exactly what they are accusing others of doing to take the spot light off of them and their actions.  Do you have to coppy and paste you postings so George Sorros will pay you?   Does he pay you by the word or by the bullet points you hit?   (sarcasm)

It seems to me that since we don't allow slaves any more in this country, each of us has available the final option:  we can quit any time we want.  That seems to be what these folks did.  Their option and they exercised it.  Really simple.

Children ! Do I need to stop this car ?  My thread was about personal integrity with a dash or two
about cooperate ignorance. Not a course on cooperate profits 101, although I will say you have all
here been very informative about that subject .
