It wouldn't take long to find the Republican Jews in the House and Senate.............The number is (1)All of the Jewish members in the Senate are Democrat but (1) independent.

I suspect that it's that way because, although there are 28 "Jewish members" only one is a Practicing Jew. The rest, democrats, are just Jewish by heritage, not by faith. But then ANY religion seems to be anathma to the liberal leftists. (with the possible exception of OBees "muslim faith")

When it comes to Israel, both the Republicans and Democrats in Congress bend over (frontwards and backwards) to give Israel whatever it wants.
As Pat Buchanan once said "Congress is Israeli-occupied territory".
 
This is one of the big reasons Israel is so intransigent, refusing to make peace with it's neighbors, mistreating the Palestinians, and flaunting it's nuclear arsenal.  It can always count on US-taxpayer money and US-taxpayer paid for weapons.
 
And what we get in return for this is endless war and the accompanying police state, the loss of US prestige and respect, and bankruptcy.

Non-jews vote Democrat for different reasons than jews.  Many non-jews who are Democrats also serve in the U.S. military, where jewish participation is the lowest of all races.

The ones I know and have worked for seem in many cases to be like other democrats and yes served in the military also. Many went to Israel during their summer vacations and trained with the Israel military.
