All is good after a long 8.5 hour surgery. He wanted to let everyone know he is ok.

Guess I missed this... I remember his mentioning, he had some parental health issues..

Great report! Praying for a speedy recovery now, and strength for his family. I was waiting for his report on using that .357 handgun on deer! I didn't realize he had a surgery come up. All the best, Rev Jim

Hey everyone. I am still in the hospital with a couple complications. My blood count is low and they want to get that taken care of.. IT was way more painful than expected. Had tubes in both lungs. STill having some breathing issues. WRiting this on my son's. Phone so gotta keep it short. Will be here at least aNOTHER TWO DAYs. Thanks for the prayers and kind wishes....Lèe

no matter how bad it hurts....it still beats that wait doesn't it

that breathing doeas hurt for a few days.....but keep doing that as long as you can

Thanks so very much guys. I just got home about an hour ago. Am doing ok just still in conciderable pain. They had to spread my ribs open and in doing so the linings of where my lungs area attatched to the ribs took a beating. Makes bypass surgeery seem like a cake walk. I'll write more when able......Lee

glad to hear you're ok (relatively speaking)
rest and do what the mediguessers say.
you may have to tell yourself what i had to
one year when i had to miss out for surgery.
the water is still there,the woods are still there,
the deer are still there,the fish are still there,
and they'll be there when i get back.
