Kentucky Chinese restaurant closed after  it served up a road killed deer!

Chop!  Chop!   At least it wasn't Chinese Fetus Soup, which is a big delicacy on the Asian mainland.

Doesn't surprise me, never could figure out why so many Chinese restaurants do so well in this country. I've only ever eaten in a Chinese restaurant twice. The first time was to see what all the fuss was about. The second time a few years later was to see if I maybe missed something the first time. I didn't, and I never will again.
There is to much other good food available to be eating Chinese food. Like in this case, I figure you don't know what you are getting. A road killed deer is probably not as bad as what some get at certain Chinese restaurants. Drive by any Chinese restaurant on a Friday or Saturday evening and the place is packed. Go figure!
Wonder what the stuff is they call chicken? Please pass the tofu, no thanks!

There was a Chinese restaurant that was closed in my town about ten years ago.  We have a LOT of geese on the roads in this area.  The owners or cooks got caught either picking up the dead ones from the road behind their place or just outwardly killing them and serving them. 

Anything can happen anywhere though.  It doesn't have to be a Chinese place.  Many years ago I had heard of a Pizza Hut in the area that was using Alpo as sausage.  Anytime you eat something that was prepared by someone else, you're taking risks.  Heck, half of what we eat today is fabricated chemical crap.  I remember as a kid watching Soilent Green and thinking it was such a fantasy.  These days, you never know.   ???    :o    ::)

Cheap Chinese food is an American Tradition.
For good eats... besides BBQ & Blue Bell? - Indian food is the best ethnic food in the world; Thai ain't bad.

"Grilled huh?" Been there, done that! My neighbor many years ago had a towing business, and I would cover for him at times when he was out of town.One late night I was called out to an accident involving vehicle and big steer. The HP on the scene told me to do whatever I wanted with the beef, as no one would claim it, and there was no brand.Black Angus road kill....YUM!

I knew the officer and where he lived.I paid him a visit later and dropped off a few choice steaks.Not venison, but (Grilled ) ;)
