i think i missed it in the FAQ's but i've got a 270 that i haveto knock out even an unfired round out with a cleaning rod. its an ejector and thought the chamber just might need polishing. whats the best way ya'll have found on doing this?

See the FAQs on chamber polishing, I always use a bore mop, but a lot of members use a fireformed case with a screw in the flashhole spun in a drill. Also see the ejector tune info to improve ejector performance.

Before you go doing anything to a chamber you have to determine just where the hang up is. Have you dyechemed or Magic Markered the case, inserted it and found what the bare spots tell you?
It may be as simple as the ejector has a bit to much hook height and not the chamber at all.
A good rule of gunsmithing is dont mess with stuff that ain't a problem.
