Just checking in. Interesting forum that seems to cover a wide variety of topics. I was previously an avid hunter (hit the woods with my dad when I was four). But over the years life, family , career, and other hobbies got in the way.
I never gave up hunting, just gave less time to it. I re-connecting to my roots now, largely due to my 9 year old grandson I'm raising. He enjoys time spent hunting and fishing with his Papaw and I enjoy the time as well. In this day and age, traditions and a love of the outdoors is something that needs to be passed down and taught.
