jus thought i'd share this wif all yall great guy's here......
 
well it began roun noon when jo-david called me an said.... tha pump stopped and mom (kayla)
j3's wife  (i call her "my outlaw daughter" but i do love her like my own :D )...told me ta call ya.... :o   so asa fixit kinda guy i am....i'll be there ina minute i says.
got on tha kub-shuttle an raced over there cuz that gal got 3 yung-uns ta corral by her ownself... :o
when i got there, she said come in an have one them beers thatsa left from when j2 was home....
we both hadda tear from that :'(
then she said " tha pump is work'n fine"....... and i knew that cuz i heard it cycle on and off while
madison was play'n in tha pool ;)
sit down she said, so me an j3 sat an arm wrestled a lil'bit. 8)
then she said  "since j2 ain't here, we planned this fathers day for you and the kids will celebrate
there dads day with you !!!!!!!!!!!!
j2 thought bout him be'n gone durin this day. so he wrote me a note, and kayla gave it to me with the best fathers day present i have ever got................
this was my favorite picture of john jr. (j2) that was lost 30 years ago..... and i have wept ever since it was lost :'(   kayla found it by negatives from tha school archives.............. ;D
she cropped and framed it !!!!!!!!!!! an she dunna excellent job.
i jus wish i cudda tooka better pitcher, but this is it.

thats my lil'boy as i will always remember... even today, when i think of him...
this is what i see in my mind......
i only had 1 child. thats why i'm like i am about him ;D
 
i wish i cud talk to my boy today, but i know he is ona mission from hell in tha Y country
seek'n tha red mist on AL'Q..........no contact witha outside world since april 20.
all is gud cause his men and him are tha best of tha best. they wud'nt be there on sucha
mission if they wern't 8)
i love my family, and all my animals and friends.....i gotta admit, i'm blessed.. and i thank god
for that.
we hadda great fathers day celebration and j2 is in all our hearts always ;)
for 36 years i've hadda fathers day.... even without my boy today, i still hadda great one.
because he is in my heart and soul, he is part of me !!!!!! 8) and i am with his kids ;)
to assure they and there mom are safe from any harm.
we will celebrate on his return in october before crossbow season !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
i kan't wait !!!!!!! 8) ;D 8) ;D
he's every last bit of my ol'man's son............... rodney atkins from his song..."he's mine"
 
i wish all you  handi-dads.... a wonderful fathers day !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 That's a wonderful way to spend Father's day. The only way it would be better would be for all of you to be together in person.

Yay John !! Don't think for a minute you that you and the "outlaw daughter" have the market cornered on tears...Hope and pray for your son to return home safe, and I don't even know him or you either for that matter, but I do know the father-son thing, as I have only one myself and still have dreams of him now with him as a 5-6 year old even tho he is 34.  God bless you and your family....

PS...when ya get too old and senile to work and shoot, you should consider a career as a writer

   Congratulations Doc, that's a mighty nice picture. Sounds like she went to a lot of work to get it done for you, I'm sure it will mean a lot.
