I have a .44 Handi barrel I just got recently, but haven't had a chance to shoot yet, so this is good to know.  Mine will be scoped too, but I'm thinking about just putting a plain and old fixed 4x on mine since it doesn't have irons.  How were your groups at 100?  I'm not thinking MOA, but trying to decide if this will be a deer rifle, or load it real light (quiet) for backyard pests.  I'm thinking this should be perfect for deer size game, but a slow and heavy slug like this does wonders if I can get it stabilized at low velocities, like 500fps or even less for small game/pests.
