I've been loading 6X45 ammunition with 87 grain Hornadys getting ready to start some 500 yard mid-range F-Class Matches.  I'll get it sighted in this weekend and hit a practice session in two weeks and match two weeks later.

Sent off the parts to complete my bull barrel 223 upper with a BHW barrel and hope to get it next week. I've already prepped 500 Winchester cases for it and need to go round up a 500 box of 80 grain Sierras this week.

Lots of stuff going on with preparation for the new 6X6.8 coming along with 100 cases prepped and ready to go when that upper shows up later this month.

Well, the snow is falling here in CT... ??? But last week it was 80 degrees..... :o   SO, its indoor sports today  ;) ... BUT another snag... Momma is off to work... :'( ::) ;D It's on to plan "B"  loading room day!!  ::)

I need to make up some more 6.5x63 cases and then load them... the 356 has been shot a couple times so I can load up some of the loadings that shot well.... With all the recient 22M activity I really need to re organize the rimfire ammo shelf...

Almost, yes mine has a slightly different shoulder... Technically its a 6.5x270.

I used 100 LC match brass... lost two so not bad at all.. they are in the tumbler now getting cleaned up. Then its re-form the pockets and uniform then neck turn and trim ready to load!

Its a Custom Argentine 98 Mauser with a 27" Shillen barrel, Fresh extractor and bolt shroud, Timney DLX Trigger, BC Thumbhole stock (Pillar bedded), Nikon Monarch 4x14 scope in Burris mounts.

I just swapped a old fav 3x9 Leupold for the Nikon. I built this for long range hunting and in recient talks with Roger up in Alaska, decided to take his advice and put on bigger glass.

This is a 125 Bal Tip and a moderate loading of 4350 powder at about 3200 fps...It shoots pretty good too...  ::)

Recently bought an old Herters U9 (BSA made) in 6mm Remington....trying various grain bullets and powders in it.  Have three rifles in 257 Roberts.  Today I loaded three sets of 4 cartridges with 117 grain Hornady bullets/43.8gr of Hybrid100 and another 3 sets of 100gr Sierra bullets/42.7gr Ramshot Hunter.  Tomorrow I'll take my 257R rifles (91 Argentine mauser sporter, 98 FN mauser sporter and a Ruger Hawkeye) to range and try them out just to see which rifle shoots more accurately with these reloads.

The XD is a nice handgun!  My buddie bought a 40 last year. Good shooter too!

I'm working up 10MM 200g loads with B Dot powder for my G20.

This morning I'll be trimming up the new cases for my Black Hole 6X6.8 wildcat that will get here tomorrow. Then tomorrow I'll load up some break in rounds and some group testing stuff fora range trip on Sunday.

I'll be loading up more 6X45 tomorrow also for the F-Class match on Saturday. It will be my first foray into a registered rifle match.

Lately for me it's 100% 10MM!!! (and 22 Mag but not loading them ;) )

Working up top accuracy and velocity loads for my G20 with a 6" KKM barrel.

I have some 155's really moving!!! Too fast really but I would try them on song dogs! They are shooting under 2" at 25 yards. Not exceptional accuracy, but plenty good at close to 1600 fps!!!! ::)

I want a good shooting 200g at +1300 with min 1"/25 yard accuracy.  I have some 1200oads with the XTP almost there accuracy wise but I want more speed. These are both from a 6" barrel.

Of the two, I enjoy shooting the .45 Colt.

I've been loading up some test ammo for the 6X6.8 and the 243 LBC. I'm using the same bullets/charges in both sets to get a head to head comparison on velocity and accuracy on the two. It should be an interesting experiment.

keith,

So far the 32ga slug gun exists only in my imagination.  I can find a suitable barrel to ream but i have had no luck finding a 32 ga reamer.  May have to make a drill rod reamer as buying a custom one would probably cost more than my entire gun.  I hope to get on this project after hunting season ends for me in January.  If I can make it work I will post on it in the H&R shotgun forum.
