Rimfire Barrels?
« on: March 28, 2011, 06:55:48 AM »
New to the whole Encore thing and have a million questions being answered one at a time!  I am thinking of adding a rimfire barrel as my first additional barrel.  My question is this...do I need to change the firing pin or do I use the centerfire pin in my frame?  As always, thank you in advance for any help.

Welcome to Encore land!
For Encore rimfire bbls, the breech is offset so the original centerfire firing pin is used.  I have a 28" ProHunter  22LR  barrel.  Accuracy is 2nd only to the Contender 22LR Match carbine barrel I once had!

Squirrel.......the OTHER dark meat.....!
