my kiyot get'n partner has one and it does a nice job...
anyway. the caller has 40 calls and a volume control. and it appears to have the same quality of sound that the more exspensive ones have.
my grandson gave me one this morning for christmas and we have been driving the dogs, and birds crazy
with it.  as soon as the rain clears, i'm gunna go try her out.

anybody tried this caller ?

midway has them on-sale for $29.95..... i know ya get what ya pay for, but it was a gift from my grandson
so it will be used with great pride !!!

and i believe it will do a very good job.

btw... i've been do'n reeds for over 40 years, so i'm not new to the game

got in yesterday right before dark. and by the time i did my gotta-do list it was pitch black.... so i played with it on tha back porch communicating with a female kiyot.  i put some deer scraps out to see if others would come around.... check them about 9pm and they were gone !!!! tracks everywhere  
so, about 4 this morning i was back at it on the porch. called in 2 males with a distress call. i like it !!!
if tha rain breaks this afternoon, i gunna get me a kiyot or 3.....
and i'll tell ya, it works great on squirrels too. i've been bitch'n with them all morning  
i just ordered one for my grandson so he will leave mine alone !!!!

How well did the call work for you that your grandson got for you.

still works great.... ya just don't over-do-it with the calls.
small animal distress works great for kiyots.
