Thanks Tim... I just called and talked to a CS rep. named JB. He told me that they are not installing sights on clean barrels but will sell the sights for gunsmith installation. I asked about the sights on the 30-30 as it's the same barrel as the 30-06. Here are current part numbers and prices for the sights.

Front site part number... FR03872
Price... $12

The rear site comes in 3 parts.
Rear site base part number... FR03223     Price... $8
Rear site slide part number... FR03820     Price... $6.40
Rear site blade part number... FR03819    Price... 5.50

Shipping for everything is $12+ your local sales tax.

Totals... $43.90 + your local sales tax for the parts and shipping... installation is on you.

I hope this helps.

I would suggest the Williams ramp and adj. open rear (WGOS?)that mount with screws. Crooked dovetails cant be fixed and look horrible. To D/T the 3, or four holes to do the other sights you still need to jig up and do it proper, or pay somebody, but it looks and works good, more of a real finished sporting rifle look.

The H&R rear sight parts are the for Williams WGOS, and what ever they use for the front.

Or get the Williams ramp & front sight and use a peep in the rear.  You would only need to drill and tap for the ramp.
