Tea Party=Racists?
« on: July 13, 2010, 06:25:10 AM »
http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2010/07/12/naacp-considers-condemning-tea-party-racism/?test=latestnews

"The Kansas City Star reported that the organization plans to vote as early as Tuesday on the language at its annual convention in Kansas City. The resolution reportedly will call on "all people of good will to repudiate the racism of the Tea Parties" and stand against the movement's attempt to "push our country back to the pre-civil rights era." "

Seems to me that this is a libel lawsuit waiting to happen.

Racist: A person or believes that race is the primary determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race.

I'm betting that the % of racists in the NAACP far, far exceed the % of racists in the Tea Party.

This that I do, I do by my own free will.

The NAACP is, by definition of their name, a racist organization.  Who cares what they say!

The TEA Party movement has nothing to do with race what so ever, there are white, black, Hispanic, Oriental and who else know what race they proclaim that are involved with the TEA Party movement as well as the 9-12 Groups. Yes the majorities are old white people that have the guts to stand up for what they believe in, The Constitution of the United States. More and more other races are joining in the movement, the blacks are reluctant, due to being called uncle Tom's for sliding agents the present administration.

The reason people want to label the TEA Party movement as raciest is, they want people to shy away from theses group, and not join or find out they are really not racists, nor do they want the raciest label. The true racists are the people calling the TEA Party movement people raciest.

In my opinion, the Obama administration has caused more racial tension in America than there has been in a number of years. Once race becomes the issue, the real issue about the rights of our Liberties being striped away from us, becomes a non-issue. This is just the Liberal way of progressing there agenda. Smoke and mirrows.

TEA Party people are not racists, the people calling them raciest ARE the true racists..

Racist. A word too freely used in this nation and often without merit. Not liking something that a person of a different or particular ethnicity does, does not make a racist. It means you don't approve of somebody's actions. The black panther that was on the news recently saying how he wants to kill all white people, I view him more of being an idiot than a racist. Haven't figured out what percentage yet, but.............. Am I a racist? Try to convince my mulatto grandson.

Yep, the left tends to be that way.  Ever notice that whatever the cause they are protesting for/against changes regularly? And they blindly follow along, making new signs and substituting a word or two in their vulgar and hate filled mindless chants.

Has anyone noticed that most of these protestors don't have jobs. They, are for the most part supported by liberal organizations and people. If they ever get a real job, and find out what life is all about, they get a whole new atitude and outlook. Just like college kids. Real good at protesting and making noise, but as soon as mom and dad's money is gone, and they get a job and bills, suddenly no time to raise a stink. It's called maturity. gypsyman

Come on, that is so lame so it goes back to Bush... A lot of people were speaking out when Bush was in office. I know I was as well as others.

Do you recall what prompted the TEA Parties?

The TEA Parties grew because of the Stimulus packages being passes, and we wanted to know who was going to pay for all the spending that this new administration was doing.  Then it just grew and started to include Unconstitutional bills and everything else this Liberal Progressive movement want to do to destroy our great nation.

What does it matter when it started, what matters is it is going now and building.

Let me ask you this one question, are you happy with the direction our Country is going?

How quicly we forget!  Are you sure it was ALL Obama?

WASHINGTON — President Bush on Wednesday signed a multibillion-dollar economic rescue package on Wednesday that means $300 to $1,200 rebates for many American households.

Bush called the measure "a booster shot for our economy" to stave off a recession.

Several dozen members of Congress, including House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, stood on the stage behind Bush as he signed the bill.

Rebates are to go out beginning in May to taxpayers and low-income people, including seniors living off of Social Security and veterans who depend on disability checks. Businesses would get tax breaks for investing in new plants and equipment.

Most taxpayers will receive a check of up to $600 for individuals and $1,200 for couples from the Internal Revenue Service, with an additional $300 per child. People earning at least $3,000 and those who owe little or no taxes would get $300 for singles, $600 for couples. Those making more than $75,000 and couples with income exceeding $150,000 are to get smaller rebates — $50 less per $1,000 they make over those thresholds.

BDS (Bush Derangment Syndrome)

Always cracks me up when people talk about Bush's record when Obama has done three times the damage to the country/economy in 2yrs as Bush did in 8yrs. Check the national debt lately? All the arguements against Obama fall on deaf ears when it comes to idiologs. Never mind the facts. Just blame Bush or play the race card. Like whats happening to the Tea Party. I'm not defending Bush, but if he was so bad why does Obama use Bush as an excuse to do far worse and somehow it's okay??  So much for change and hope. Looks like Bush policy on steroids or worse.

Its important to cut down others ( President BUSH)when your choice is so bad you can't find anything good to say about them .
Most people defend their choice by building up their man not cutting down the competition . BUT since the days of LBJ the democrats have not had that course of action to take. So they have perfected the cut the other guy down.

I was agents the Bush economic rescue package, I did not get a check either. (Just so you know)  I have not forgotten some of the things Bush did. But it damn sure does not compare to what the CLOWN in the White house is doing. Your stuck on stupid if you still blame Bush for what is going on right now. It is time Obama assumes reasonability for his actions as well as his administration. Everything that has happened is his responsibility the day he was sworn in. Bottom line..

That for sure is not the answer. The voters have a lot of responsibility for letting the elected officials take power they did not have. People will keep electing the same people over and over, because they have there heads up there back sides, and or they are receiving the entitlements they want.

If you think the TEA Party and 9-12 groups are going away after the 2010, or even the 2012 elections, people are going to find out, we are not going to go back to sleep, and let these elected officials try another power grab.

The fact checkers tear Obama apart every time he speaks in public. In my neck of the woods we call that lying. Not miss-spoke, not mistaken, not anything else but lying.
To get back to the subject of racism in the TP, there are more and more black TPs speaking out against this bogus charge all the time. One of my favorite videos on the subject is this black reverend speaking at a TP rally. If you don't think this is inspirational, there is something wrong with you!! Some old time preaching going on here. It's a little long but not boring and worth the watch. I like what he says about the media not covering TP events like this when a black person is a speaker. WATCH!!!

I had to add this one too. Very good stuff !!!

Jessie Jackson & Al Sharpton are two of the biggest trouble makers in the US today. I don't know why the media pays any attention to them other than to help them stir up trouble. Talk about racists and bigots, they are the definition of such.

You are exactly right about those two. Their Democrat, victimization and welfare policies and plans for black people have done far more harm than good. They are more about promoting themselves than actually improving things for black people. Their record for success in actually helping people is dismal at best. These guys increase division between the races and are segregationist. Not peace makers. Sharpton's gettos and black,"Projects", that are run down and abandon are proof. They do more to stir up racial tension than anything else. They are enemies of the black man and most don't even know it. Being in bed with the Democrats is just sleeping with the enemy. The black woman in the video link above knows so and says so. Sad that more black people don't know the truth and the history of Democrats concerning civil rights from the Civil War till now.
