genesis, are they good guns?

i have found a sale on remington genesis muzzleloader, its a blue barrel camo stock for $215.00 shipped. is this a good deal?, and are they good guns? all i've ever owned are cva's, and lately i've had trouble with the action being a little looser than i'd like. i noticed the remington doesn't break open but has a cam that opens, so thanks for any help you can give me.

They are made by Traditions in Spain.  I've heard that they are accurate.

traditions makes them?, i thought they would be american made. i guess i'll look around a little longer, i wanted to get a good gun. i've had so much bad luck with muzzleloaders lately.

Remington no longer imports them.  Look for a Knight.

Look for an old Austin and Halleck.  They can be had at a reasonable price, have good triggers, barrels, and actions, as well as good stocks.  What more can you ask for.

RE A and H, true some of the parts were Spanish, but the Spaniards make some pretty good stuff when specified to be so.  Plus, the trigger is a Timney.  I caught one for 225 when they were going belly up (internal squabbling, best I could tell from their website at the end).  It is a super tack driver.  Fit and finish is excellent, and I anticipate it'll last a couple of lifetimes.

It likes sabots, but powerbelts do great as well.  Heck, a traditional Mini shoots really well if loaded cosistently (hard for me to get just the right touch each time on that soft lead, but I'm not an expert like some of you magicians of the smoke poles)
