16 Gauge A-5 Stock
« on: November 22, 2009, 10:04:02 AM »
If anyone has a stock laying sround or no where I can get one rather inexpensive. I have a project gun that some fool cut down the stock. The barrel is all patina-no blue at all. I assume rebluing is to costly to be worth it. any suggestions to coat this thing so it doesnt rust.

Thanks, the coating helps. I was hoping to find a stock for 30-40 but I appreciate the info. I know, wishful thinking.

You might call Boyd's Gunstocks in Mitchell, South Dakota. They have A5 walnut stocks for about $45.  Their phone number is (605) 996-5011.

My 16 ga A-5 has a  smaller receiver than the 12 ga. A-5.   Will the same stock fit both guns?  I'll bet someone out there has the answer.

Does anyone remember the scene from "Quigley Down Under" showing the aborigines lined up on the skyline as far as you could see?   That needs to be US!
