Tulsa gun show
« on: November 14, 2009, 12:46:49 PM »
Went to the Tulsa gun show today and I did real good till I came upon Ed's TC's booth.  I spent all my money at one place.  Oh well, At least I have a new 22lr with a 2x Leupold scope.  I already have her sighted in and ready to shoot.  I did buy a little powder and primers to load some 44 mag's.  Had a real good time.  Had a funny feeling I was around some like minded folks.
Politics is supposed to be the second oldest profession. I have come to realize that it bears a very close resemblance to the first.

I was there on sunday, nice show but too large, was not able to see the whole thing as I got tired from all that walking. Talked at the fellows at the MGM booth. They sure have some very nice barrels and some great machining work. look at their rifle barrel in stainless 22LR for Encore, they have bored it at receiver off set so you do not have to convert to rim fire but comes out the muzzle in the center of barrel. They also make a nice scope mount that is machined to fit the conture of the Encore barrel and good price at 20.00 with the hardwear. From the talk that I heard dealers were not doing well but the turn out was good, Ed was doing good as he always has what you are looking for and at a good price.
