Price Check-NEF 223 Survival rifle
« on: October 04, 2009, 06:42:58 AM »
The guy wants $249 for it.  There is a bit of rust on top of the barrel (I hate rust) but I'm sure I can remove that.  The bore looks clean.  It wears a 3-9x50 scope of unknown make.  The serial number is NN. Except for rust on the barrel, the gun appears clean.  Is this a decent price, or a little high?  I've owned quite a few Handis, just never a Survivor model. It sure felt good, I'll say that.

Thank you sir.  Of course buying one new I would still have to pay shipping as well as get a new scope.  This one is used but...I guess I may as well buy it.  A little rust never hurt anyone.  I'll just keep telling myself that.  lol  Thanks again.

One thing you may want to consider is if you're planning on any factory fitted accessory barrels, H&R won't fit any rifle barrels to 1996-1999 SB2 frames, the NN prefix =1999, there's a note about it on the build year list in the FAQs.
