Allen -

You are dealing with one event of the highest importance in your life.  Some of us have been down that road - others of us will learn valuable lessons from this.

I've watched others and family die.  Some fast some slowly - neither is to be preferred.

A hospice worker saw that I was very concerned.  She simply took me aside and said - imagine the worst - now imagine that it's already happened.  That helped me alot.  We all have to transition from day to day - some days are much different; let us know day by day - we're here to help  (As is our Maker).

My thought and prayers are with you both. Being in the medical field, I understand some of the problems that the two of you will face. Don't forget to ask your doctor or the Hospice nurse for information.  May God bless.
