I use a max load of Rl15 with the 225gr TSX, here's the best 35 Whelen site on the net with lots of loads, congrats on the new rifle!  ;)

Just got off the phone with Rem CS. I was told that they were going to start production of the 35w on the 20th of this month. He told me hold off buying one here in Ms, because I should get mine shortly after that date. I hope he knew what he was talking about. Maybe by the first of next month, I'll be wocking and whelin. ;D ;D

I thought there were Handi's available in 35 Whelen in the past. Discontinued for awhile?

They were discontinued by Gardner due to misfire problems, likely a combination of poor quality control on the rifle and the ammo, see the FAQs, it was well documented.  This is the re-released version by Ilion, see the 35 Whelen Poll stickys.

I wonder if they will allow the people that have the older version with problems to trade for the new ones.

Dunno, Gardner fixed the problem on some of them like Glen's, others got a replacement barrel of a different chambering.

If you want one Jim, better get it while you can, where you can,  that's an old schedule, I just verified that it's not scheduled for production yet.
