Would like info on Stevens 311 20ga 2 3/4" Tenite stocks
« on: September 23, 2007, 10:41:59 AM »
I'm trying to find out when this shotgun was made and if shooting it will hurt the old plastic stocks?
Also are the chokes marked somewhere or do I have to measure them? Barrels measure 28".
Any good links to this information would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

my uncle got one in the late 60's , we were hunting and this guy pulls up with a car trunk full of them , this had to be before 68 . that was the only time i saw him but was told he made the rounds every so often , like the other peddlers did back then ! his stock split and the last time i saw it it had elec. tape around the wrist , that was at the sale after his death !
wooden stocks are aval. and better looking IMHO !
If ya can see it ya can hit it !
