6.8 mm Rem spc info
« on: February 14, 2007, 03:22:17 PM »
Hi guys,

I'm wondering if anyone out there has the 6.8 mm rem spc in a 14" contender barrel and knows what the velocities are for any factory ammo? Has anyone actually cronied them? I find that velocities are not usually what they post. I'm thinking about getting one and I just want to know some stats first.  Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks,  Rob...

If you don't mind me asking, have you cronied your handloads?  If so, what are you getting and what bullet are you using? Thanks.

Anybody interested in 2 boxes (40 cases) of once fired Remington 6.8mm SPC brass. I used them to break in 2 barrels prior to having them rechambered. Make me an offer I can't refuse.

Spinafish,
I created a new caliber based on a reformed .307 Win case blown out. I'm calling it a 6.8mm SPC "Hunter" named after my grandson who's name is Hunter and when born was 6.8 lbs. Haven't gotten the barrel back yet from the guy doing the rechambering. I'll take the $10 plus shipping costs. E-mail me an address.
