Fletching colors

What is your favorite Fletching colors or combinations?

Lets see pictures of them.

I just ordered 200 red and 100 white.

I got 24 blue and 12 gray fletchings at walmart on sale for $3.00 to try out my new jig. they look good on my arrows but I bet they will be hard to find in the dark woods

I bought a bunch of feathers from a friend that were yellow and some green. ( Go Pack LOL ) and some blue  got a really good deal on them but if I were going to buy them myself I think I would buy all white that really stands out when your shooting them against darker targets and deer.

I shoot all white as JH45Gun had mentioned...   It helps to follow the bolt to the target!

The only concern I would have wiht all white is that some overzellus hunter may take a quiver full of white fletched arrows for the white on a deer and decide to take a stupid shot. This would be the same with my red vanes when turkey hunting.

If the guy is that stupid and careless than I do not think it would matter what color you were using or wearing for that matter.

some people are so obsessed with shooting a deer they do not use there brains.

I just got my vanes in and It looks like I will be shooting 1 white and two reddish / pink  The duravanes savage is not a true red  :-[

    Do you not wear hunter orange when X-bow hunting during Gun seasons?   If a bowhunter gets that close you should know it and should say something to him..  Have never had a problem with this.  But I do know, where your coming from on this one..

I just got my ten point Phantom so this is the first year I will be hunting with a cross bow.
I have been hunting for about 25 years and yes I do have on hunter orange during the gun seasons but when some hunters has what he / she thinks is a deer in the sights that is all they think about. They don't thin anyone else could be around. I have been in my tree stand on private land during gun season and heard a shot then a few seconds hear a thump hit a tree a few yards from me.
