Thanks for the replies on which red dot to put on my 475. Based on those and talking with a couple places that sell optics I went with the Aimpoint. Its reputation, 10 year warrenty, and 50,000 hour battery life helped.

What scope mount did you use?

A follow up on this. I took the aimpoint off. No problem with the aimpoint, just really didn't like the additional weight and bulk. Don't really know if the aimpoint is worth almost 3X as much as an Ultra Dot. Went back to the express sights. Might try one of my Ultra Dots on it. The aimpoint may be good but they sure are big and bulky.

Just curious if any of you guys have tried mounting the "Doctor" style red dot to a fixed sight model?
