new to the handi's have a few questions

are there any companies making barrels for the handi's?  or are they just available from h&r

No, only new barrels are available direct from H&R or you can buy used barrels in our classifieds and on ebay. ;)

you can also pick up used barrels from the clas. section of the H&R forums . i have gotten some that way and have only had to minor fitting to get them to fit my frames .

You can also get some chamberings that H&R does not offer by using a barrel and having it re-chambered , for example the 223 can be made into a 220 swift or the 45/70 can be a 45/90,110 or 120 .

Right now i am having a 22 mag barrel done to 218 Bee for one of my SB2 frames
