Winchester Fail Safe and Big Game

Hi all,

     Has anyone used Winchester Fail Safes on brown bear or moose?  How well did the bullet expand?  Did you like the overall performance?  I have used the 180 grain from a 30-06 on deer.  I don't like the "goes in with a small hole, goes out with a small hole".  Yes the deer is dead, but on larger game how well does it do.  I am looking to use it my 375 H & H in a near future hunt.  If fail safes are not the best choice, what is a better one for brown bear and moose with the 375?

I've used them on elk and deer.  I like them a great deal.

I've shot several moose with the 230 gr. 338WM's.  All were pass throughs, but all animals fell over dead within a few yards.  Failsafes are designed to penetrate so they should work good for the brownies or wherever you end up taking one of those end-to-end shots.

Yeah AkPls, maybe you should get a .450 Marlin and just knock them over, instead of passing through!   

How are you doing, and how is the family?  Everything okay at the DOT?
