I just bought a model 60-15 j-frame in .357 with a 3 inch barrel. I have been told by people that they are not designed to be shot alot. I did not think anything of it, so I went to the range tonight and shot about 2oo rounds of target loads in .38 special. After shooting I noticed when I got home to clean it that the cylinder does not spin freely like it did before. I wanted to know if it might just have grit in it, or did it somehow get damaged from shooting that many rounds in it. It still spins, but it has some drag to it. I am new to revolvers and am not sure if there is problems. I wanted to know before I try and shoot full house .357 loads thru it. Thanks for any help. Also if anyone has any suggestions for bear protection factory ammo and also personal protection I would appreciate any advise I could get.
