Any one know anything about the Braztech Rifles ?
« on: November 21, 2006, 07:04:30 AM »
I am new to the single shot world and I am still searching for a cheap and accurate solution for a 243 win.  Primary use will be for 400 and 500 yard target shooting (not competition, just plinking at long distances and the occasional varminting)

I am very happy with my 223 stevens 200 but I've always wanted a light weight 243.  I came accross those Braztech with 23" barrels, what are people's thoughts on em ? are they accurate ? how about the hammer placement, does it strike the scope ? is interchanging the barrels a pain in the butt or easy and smooth like T/C encores?

thanks guys

Actually Braztech is the importer of Rossi firearms.

In December of 1997 BrazTech International L.C. was created as the exclusive importer of Rossi firearms in North America.  Previously, Rossi firearms were distributed by Interarms of Alexandria, Virginia. Rossi manufactures its classic rifles in a plant in Sa Leopoldo, Brazil and will continue operations there, selling many firearms outside the United States and North America.
