McMillan A2 torque specs.
« on: April 16, 2003, 05:59:21 PM »
Hello:

I need to know the proper specs in inch pounds for the action screws on a Remington 700 and Savage 10FP when torquing a McMillan A2 Tactical stock in place. The stock is not glassed or pillar bedded. Also, if there is a proper sequence for the front and rear screws.

Thank you,

I would contact McMillan for their input..  I usually don't bother torgueing action screws.  I just put the front scerw down first the rear screw last just snug and if there should be a middle screwjust make it barely finger tight.
