Hi:

How is the accuracy of the Savage Model 11GL straight out of the box using just the factory installed iron sights?

Thanks,

They will be as good as you can be.  I have an older 110 (in .243) that shot well, however I have a 11g (in .308)  the front post was too tall.  I couldn't adjust the rear site low enough to hit a target at 100 yds.  It really didn't matter to me as I intended to put scopes on both.

The rifle should be capable of shooting MOA or better. So, how good you are at using open sights will be the determining factor.
Close only counts in horse shoes and hand grenades.
