Well I decided to treat myself and buy a new hunting knife. I'm a pretty picky guy and I wanted something that had everything on it like a good normal blade, gut hook, serrated part, and a saw. I was really impressed when I first found out about the Savage Hunters Edge and I looked all over for anything that was comparable and I didn't find anything else.
So finally I ordered it and it arrived on my door tonight. I played with it a little bit and I really have to say I am really impressed. This knife is just the right size, not too big, not too small and it has a decent feel to it. I was really impressed by how sharp it was on every cutting surface. I wasn't sure how good the saw would be, but that thing is no joke.
For $60 I have a tool that'll do everything except fillet a fish, and I can live with that. I recommend this if anyone out there is interested.
