My sons Ultra

I've been shooting it with several factory loads.  Had a couple of stuck cases, but after polishing the chamber, it seems to be okay, now.  I think I have settled on his bear load.  Federal 180 gr. nosler partitions.  4 shots under an inch at 50 yds.  If it will hold at 1 1/2" @ 100 yds, I'll keep it.  Shot the rifle yesterday, had a dumb a** attack, crawled the stock, and guess what, promptly got cut on the bridge of my nose, by the scope.  Never done that before ::)

Sounds like your getting it dialed in pretty good...I think those 180 gr. Partitions should do nicely for him....I just hate those scope cuts..it's the main reason I went with  non-criticle eye relief VX-1 scopes..

Keep up the good shooting..and let us know how it does at 100 yards..without the extra eye bruises next time ;D
