I've been shooting it with several factory loads.  Had a couple of stuck cases, but after polishing the chamber, it seems to be okay, now.  I think I have settled on his bear load.  Federal 180 gr. nosler partitions.  4 shots under an inch at 50 yds.  If it will hold at 1 1/2" @ 100 yds, I'll keep it.  Shot the rifle yesterday, had a dumb a** attack, crawled the stock, and guess what, promptly got cut on the bridge of my nose, by the scope.  Never done that before

Sounds like your getting it dialed in pretty good...I think those 180 gr. Partitions should do nicely for him....I just hate those scope cuts..it's the main reason I went with  non-criticle eye relief VX-1 scopes..

Keep up the good shooting..and let us know how it does at 100 yards..without the extra eye bruises next time
