TC ENCORE 209x45 ACCURACY

From the post I've read there seems to be a accuracy problem with the 209x45 ml bbls.  Does anyone have a handle on the problem? Is it the twist rate?  Bullets/powder? Any clues?

I am not sure what the problem is but the 209x45 that Thompson has of mine shot a solid 9" at 50 yards  . I checked the twist rate and it came out to 1 in 28" so that is not an issue with mine. They told me today there was 50 barrels(not all 209x45's) ahead of mine so they might have a little problem  . I will have to wait till the 22nd of this month to find out what they are going to do :( . Don

PS: I might have a 209x45 blue rifle with an extra 7mm-08 barrel for sale at the end of the month :x

Doninva, How much for the 7mm-08...  Just messin with ya.When i was looking for an Encore .45cal, i kept hearing from different people that the twist rate was terrible in the .45 Everyone i talked to said to buy the .50 cal and i wouldnt be able to tell that much difference and frankly i dont think i would have been able to. It must be Top Secret with Thompson Encore about the.45's because a lot of people are having the same problem.I hope you get it worked out in your favor.Good luck.
