Has anyone tried the Ruger goldbead V notch sight on thier super?
Rugers web page said it is not for the super just the redhawk and hunter.

I put one on my 454.  I like it with the normal square notch rear.  This gives me more visiablity.

Put the set on my RUger Blackhawk Hunter in 45 Colt.  The front sight was too tall and couldn't adjust the rear sight to compensate for HOT loads at 50yards.  I kept the V-notch rear and replaced the front with a fiber optic of the same height as the original sight.  Great combination!  Love the V-rear...quick and accurate.
