870 left hand trigger group into a right hand gun??

Can you put a left hand trigger group into a right hand remington 870? I shoot leftie, but the gun I want to buy is a rightie, would be nice to have the saftey work as a leftie though....anybody know if this can be done?

I emailed the Remington service dept. and ask about converting a new 870 I just bought to a left hand safety. They replied back that the safety in the new 870 trigger groups (with locks) could not be converted, but they could sell me a left hand trigger groupand that would work.

i have an 870 that i had a left handed safety installed on... it was before they funky locking thing though
