MODEL 5906 EXTRACTION PROBLEM

I have purchased a used 5906. It has extraction problems. The S&W
factory will not sell me an extractor. (factory installed only).
Does anyone know of a source for extractors for the model 5906?
Has anyone had an extractor problem with the 5906 that has been
solved?

You could try e-gunparts.com, AKA Numrich.  However, S&W lists this part as "factory installed only."  You might consider that there may be a very good reason for this besides S&W trying to be hard to get along with.  The easy way is have S&W install the new extractor.

Problem solved

I replaced the extractor spring and the recoil spring.
I then fired about 70 rounds.
I had absolutly no problems.
I bought the springs from S&W, thanks Jeff.
