Glock 23C or Sig 229
« on: March 05, 2006, 03:44:10 PM »
Here's the question: With limited finances, the better buy is: NIB Glock 23C for $515 delivered, or a used Sig 229 in .40 S&W, with 450 rounds of Miwall ammo (their load in new brass) for $525. The Sig is in VG to Excellent condition.
I have a Glock 23 (Version 1 that I bought new years ago) and love it.
For the time being, I can afford one but not both. Never have owned a Sig.
Thanks in advance for your responses.

Wow dude, that's an easy one! A Sig for the same money as a Glock  . Plus 450rds of ammo, and----you already own a Glock! Do yourself a favor and go with the Sig. It's always great to own several different types of pistols. Keeps you out of the rut. Try the CZ or 1911 for the next pistol, really helps to diversify. Enjoy!
