Author's Name
« on: September 09, 2006, 05:25:27 PM »
Years ago, I read a book (s) about a young American couple that homesteaded and raised a family in British Columbia. As I recall they both left white collar careers in New York for a life in the wilderness.I've been racking my aged brain for a week trying to put a name to the author. Can anyone here help?

I think you are talking about Bradford Angier my spelling of the last name may be questionable

Right, Vena & Bradford Angier.  Great writers, and what Brad wrote then is still applicable today.  Their homesite was flooded out when they dammed the Peace and formed Bennet Lake.  I understand that they moved to California after the condmnation/buy out procedings were over with.
