bore butter?
« on: January 13, 2006, 11:57:13 AM »
i am kinda new to ml and have just bought me a new huntsman the other week
im still learning abt this thing but so far i really like it
it shoots around an inch at 100 yards
i bought some borebutter to help keep the barrel lubed
on the label it says something abt curing the barrel like an iron skillet
so i have the barrel sitting with a good layer of borebutter in it coated real good
i also bought some tc no. 13 solvent
should i load the gun and shoot it with the borebutter in it??
or should i use the solvent and clean it out and cap it a couple of times before loading and shooting it??
i would appreciate any help with clearing this up
thanks
