TCR how to

just got a TCR from a friend to try out. problem i'm having is how to open the action.  i tried the top lever etc. but i must be missing something.  help! thanks in advance, stump jumper

A TCR rifle? It should just take a hard shove on the top lever and then the barrel/forearm should break open. Might require pulling down on the forearm area while shoving on the lever, but I never had to do that with mine.

THE TCR 83 I HAVE  IS THE SAME WAY THE TOP LEVER MOVES EASY THE FIRST 1/2 INCH THEN SEEMS TO STOP IT TAKES A LITTLE MORE HARDER OF A PUSH THAN YOU THINK IT SHOULD AND MOVES FURTHER THAN YOU THINK IT SHOULD..

I have yet been able to shoot a 3 shot sub 1" group at 100 yards ...........on any deer!!!!!!

thanks guys, you are right.  i gave that lever  a little more force and it opened right up.  since it's not mine i didn't want to break it or abuse it.  stump jumper
