I have a CZ 223 Varmit that did not shoot as good as I thought it should. I took it to the Gunsmith and he suggested recrowning the barrel. That made such a difference in the accuracy that it amazed me. I had a few, 8 rounds loaded with 69 gr. Sierra match, I shot those first. The first 5 went into .211 and all eight into .325. I had some other rounds loaded with 55 gr. Nosler BT's and it was shooting 10 round groups in the .7,s with those and they would not shoot worth a damn before.----------It seems like most of us think bedding when we have accuracy problems but the Gunsmith said most factory rifles would benefit from recrowning. I am going to take two more rifles to him and have him do the same to those. It was my first time to recrown but it will not be my last.----vernonp
