Strange things in the outdoors is this fiction books core...
Monster by Frank Peretti...just read it, I was amused and entertained to say the least...good stuff...I just wouldn't read it on a lone camping trip...my imagination is too active...

An engrossing novel with more than one character fitting the bill for the title role. I recommend reading while playing some of the sasquatch vocalizations cited over in "Horrible Sound in the Woods."

I started reading it at night alone on the back deck with only the porch light on. I was reading the part where the big guy was sneaking up on the protagonists when the snap and crackle of approaching footsteps on twigs emanated from the dark woods behind the back yard. Jumped clear out of my skin. Turned out to be just the neighbors moving about in their abutting back yard, but it couldn't have been more appropriately timed.  :)

Hey guys :D

the book (Monster) I read in one day :-D  , You guys was right, it was great stuff. I dont do that much reading, but this guy Frank Peretti, had really done some good research, to get at the core of the subject as well as he did. While reading the book, it was like watching a suspenseful movie---I couldn`t even stop to go to the bathroom, for a bathroom break. :-D , Well yes I did, but I hurried back, so I wouldn`t miss the next action chapter. I finished the book at 02:00A.M.  :-D  :-D  :-D .
My wife thought I was crazy, so she started reading it to see what all the excitement was all about, and quess what--- :-D  :-D , you guessed it, she couldn`t put the book down either, till she finished it.

Great stuff---from one to 10 stars, I give it 10 stars.

OK, guys :D

I just finshed (Dark Woods), very good Bigfoot thriller as well. I thought Monster was better, but like you-all said---they are both good reading.

Now you guys, quit recommending these books,  :-D  :-D . my wife is getting mad, cause the grass needs mowing, and when I get started on these books, I can`t stop reading them till I`m finished. :-D  :-D
