Tikka T3 Lite Stock Question...
« on: June 13, 2005, 07:41:25 AM »
Been looking at the Tikka T3 Lite on the internet.  Looks great, and has a great rep.

I was just wondering about how the stock fits when you look through the scope.  I've always used rifles with Monte Carlo stocks.  Do you T3 Lite owners find that the stock is comfortably stable against your cheek/face when you look through the scope?  Or do you have to "raise up" off the stock a little?

With my son's synthetic Browning A-Bolt, I have to raise up a little bit and I don't feel I have a stable shooting hold.

Thanks.

I have got three of the t3's, 2 ss/syn and 1 wood. Although my other guns have a cheekpiece, I haven't seemed to notice a problem when shooting the tikkas. I really like these guns and would strongly suggest gettting one.
