Winchester 67 trigger improvement
« on: February 15, 2003, 05:42:52 PM »
I've recently acquired a Winchester #67, which has been relined to .22 Mag and has a nice Lyman Super Spot 20X scope.
As you know the trigger is primitive on these little rifles.
Is there a replacement trigger assembly available, can the original be impoved or should I move my Super Spot to a more worhty rifle/

I'd vote for the last option.  These little rifles were never designed for the pressure the Magnum rinfire produces and I'd be very hesitant about using it as is..  I've seen too many that were loosened just from normal wear and tear..  Move the scope..  and good luck from the gunnut69

OK, sounds like good advice.
will probably move scope to another rifle or just sell as is.
