Which Mcmillan for my Remington 700
« on: March 17, 2005, 09:18:09 AM »
For you that have some experience with these which do ya'll prefer. I have a 700 7mm Mag. with a Mcmillan BDL stock on it. I just bought a Mountain Rifle replacement for what else {a mountain rifle}. Love that set-up.  And now I bought a sporter to replace a BDL .270 injection molded stock. I'm kinda unsure about the sporter stock. The pistol grip arch is different than the factory stock and different than the other stocks Mcmillan makes for Remingtons. It doesn't drop down as fast or as far as the normal stock. I did not notice this before I bought it. What are ya'lls preferrences when it comes to buying Mcmillans for Remingtons. jcurrie
