This is an easy one!
In rifle calibers, the 30/30 and 45/70. Both are exceptionally accurate out on the Handi platform, as a rule. Both are rimmed cartridges, which solves a bunch of the ejection problems which plague the design. And both can be reloaded by a newcomer to that art, and also be fed fairly cheaply with a lot of good factoryoads.
I wish they would either develop a rimmed cartridge or chamber for one of the rimmed Euro rounds that fall into 30.06 performance in a rimmed design. Power and reliability in an 300 yard Elk gun would be awesome!
In the shotguns, is where I find the most need for improvement. I have (or had) a bunch of 'em, and they work just fine. They now make a 20 gauge almost the way I have long said all Pardners should be made. The 20 ga. Topper Deluxe Classic has a vent rib and removable chokes. Not only is the flat sighting plane a big help, but it makes putting the wide variety of beads available on a breeze. And an adjustable to situation choke system - What A Concept!!
If they were to produce a "Hunter" 12 ga. with a matte black frame, a grey laminate english stock and a 3" chamber, 26" bbl with the vent rib and choke tubes, I'd be in heaven!
I've shot two of the 3.5 " guns with full tilt loads and even with a recoil suppressor, I'll never do that again! A 3" chamber is all this style of gun needs.
And the Huntsman/Sidekick, is another value priced winner in all the configurations I've handled or shot. I have a blued Huntsman with a scope, and love it. I'm thinking of doing a Colorado Muzzleloader hunt in the next 2-3 years, and since they require iron sights out there the 26" bbl with metal fiber-optic sights Sidekick in stainless/synthetic is on my wish list.
And all reports say that the 20 ga. Ultra Slug gun is a bargin at the price.
My 2 cents - Perklo
