I was wondering if anyone had one and could tell me about this handgun. I found one in a gun shop for $460.00 and it is in excellent condition. It has adjustable sights and I did not know if this was a good buy. I really like the way it feels in my hand. I was also wondering if it would handle the Cor-Bon 200 grain load. Any information will be greatly appreciated.

$460 for a 1006 in excellent condition is a steel. I own two of them ...



... and they'll eat any factory ammo that you feed them without the slightest problem.

Sir Knight thank you for the information. I think I will give the gun shop a call tomorrow to make sure they still have it. They will do a lay away plan so I can at least put some money down.

I have had one for years. It is powerful and accurate. I did replace the recoil spring with a stronger Wolff spring. Haven't used it lately because I am now shooting CAS.

Tom. Thanks for the information. I went ahead and put it on lay away and when I get back from work I am going to pick it up from the gun store. I can't wait to shoot it.

I think I put in a 22 lb. Wolff recoil spring. It keeps the slide from battering the frame with Winchester 175 Silvertips, and it still cycles with my light loads.
