ceramic media in a vibrator tumbler

Have any of you had experience in using ceramic media with  a touch of  liquid cleaner in a vibrator tumbler? I have an excellent vibrator tumbler from Midway and can't see my way to buy one of those fancy tumblers sold my Shiloh Sharps.
I just acquired a trapdoor springfield and have  ordered a NEF/HR 38-55
to get some experience with BPCR. All the special equiptment for BPCR is really starting to add up.

It can be used in a vibratory tumbler, but apparently only in certain "Granulations". See this thread on The Spot http://www.frontierspot.org/viewtopic.php?t=28894
